This project is the struggle meal cookbook! I needed to design a cookbook that appeals to broke college students.
I needed to make sure the dish was both functional and creative.

This guy here is the first draft, aks the one harshly crituqed. I'll admit, i struggled visulizing what i wanted to do since all the cookbooks i saw online were all quite simple, so I wanted to add a bit of flavor. Turns out doing do makes your design come out poorly.. oops!
The second draft is MUCH better.

Although still critiqued, it still wasn't as harsh as the other. It needed work, mainly because the color scheme is a bit TOO different, but it is a very big improvement from the last one. I liked changing up the colors and instead of having it on lighter backgrounds, i placed the main dish on a darker one.
the only downside is that it was harder to determine the main dish.
